Reflections and A Little Scare

Stupid 8-days. Why did they have to do a review on ice cream?? Ever since i read the issue on ice cream, I cannot stop craving for them. I wanted the gula melaka, the longan red date and the pulot hitam flavoured ice cream BADLY. My craving was SO strong that ahmah and i actually went ice cream hunting in my dad's lorry yesterdae night. I had one of the biggest scare of my entire life.

First, we turned into a weird lane and i had to do a 3 point turn with my dad's LORRY! Ahmah was busy telling me not to be scared, and that she's helping me check in front, behind, left and right.

Got out of the scary and quiet lane, and into a MASSIVE jam at Coronation. This BITCH refused to give way to me when i wanted to filter right. CB still gave a xia lan face. Knn. I was so traumatised by the bus on my left and the cars on my right, and the fact that i was in the middle of nowhere that I told ahmah to find me the NEAREST U Turn coz i wanted to go home. HAHA.

So we ended up driving to Bukit Timah, with the purpose of goign to Island Creamery, only to end up scaring ourselves out of our wits on our way there, and driving back home, and taking a cab to shaw towers instead. The comforting fact was that I got to satisfy my ice cream craving, ahmah got to satisfy her craving for Hooters' chicken wings. =)

On another note slightly more serious note.......

Mmmmh.. I know my girls have been worried about me. I'm fine ladies. Don't worry so much. I know he's probably not the most popular person among you girls now, but.. I just have a soft spot for him, despite the way he's been treating me. But oh well, things are.. back to normal now. So.. yeah.. DON'T WORRY. I love you all. I will find a chance to .. clear the air.. when i am ready. =)

Updates! - "revised"

Whoo Hoo!! Its been what.. a zillion years since I last sat down in front of my comp to blog. I've been VERY lazy. Lazy to choose pictures, lazy to resize pictures, lazy to upload pictures, lazy to think, lazy to blog. I only wan to sleep and shop and eat and pak tor. =)

The last proper update was probably the summary of 2008, which took me a damn long
time, btw. I've written SOO much at work that i have officially become lazy to think outside of work.

It feels like we've been pretty cool and quiet ever since god knows when. But in reality, when i look at the AMOUNT of pictures we take, i know we have been BUSY. ha

ok. So i checked. The last post with pictures was the X'mas post ( I know, decades ago). So I'll start with.. New Year's Eve..

Counting down to 2009 - Hacienda

Since we partied during X'mas, we decided to welcome the new year in a cool and ATAS manner. =) All very pretty.. all dressed up. hee.

CNY LoHei + Ahmah's Chinese Bday - Home, DblO

Then it was Chinese Year Year. 5th day of the lunar new year, which also happened to be Ahmah's chinese bday. We welcomed her 25th year on planet earth with lots of food, and of course, alcohol, AFTER our 'tradition' - Lohei at my place.

Next, it was a combined farewell for Sam and our dear Mw. Sam leaving for Adelaide, Mw leaving for Shanghai. Another Lohei, with lots of seafood, then crazy, noisy, time at the Red Dot, den Marina Barrage.

Then it was ahmah's bday again. Now you know why she turned 30 on 24th Feb (coz she celebrated so many damn times!) haha.

And last but not least, my lao gong's bday. Stupid woman, once again, she escaped drinking and escape any form of embarrassment.

I totally forgot that we actually went out on QY's birthday itself. HAHA. I was on MC, Qy was on leave, ahmah.. well.. she's on PERMANENT leave, so we went Sentosa with the intention of getting a BEAUTIFUL tan~ But it turned out.. it poured the ENTIRE day. There was no sun. We stayed at Sentosa for less than 3 hours and headed back to my place for a round of mj, where STUPID BERNON AND QY cheated ahmah's money, and Mine. Pui.
